The Transylvanian Initiative for Accounting Research Development Doctoral Colloquium (TIARD Doctoral Colloquium 2013) will take place at Babes-Bolyai University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, 58-60 Teodor Mihali Street, Cluj-Napoca, Romania on September 12, 2013.

Participation in the Doctoral Colloquium is limited to students who are selected for the Doctoral Course within the AAC 2013 Convention. Students who are selected for the course will participate in the Convention's doctoral colloquium, at which a subset of students will have an opportunity to present and receive feedback on their own research. Professor John Christensen of the University of Southern Denmark and Professor Wayne Landsman of the University of North Carolina will act as co-chairs for the Convention's doctoral colloquium. Faculty members of the Convention's Scientific Committee will also be involved in the activities of the Colloquium, acting as mentors for the selected students.

The Doctoral Colloquium includes discussions, analysis and debates concerning the paper writing process, the submission, review and acceptance process in order to publish a scientific paper. The format of the Colloquium will allow detailed analysis of students' research work in order to provide constructive feedback.

All students will also participate in the Convention's main conference, September 11-12, which comprises parallel paper presentations, panel discussions, and keynote addresses (http://www.econ.ubbcluj.ro/aac2013/home.php).
